Medical Information for Administrators
With ever increasing responsibilities and regulations to get to grips with, the role of the Medical Information Administrator grows increasingly complex.
This meeting is aimed at Medical Information Administrators with less than 18 months experience. However administrators with more experience may find it useful to consolidate their knowledge and give a complete overview.
Structured sessions will put the role into context, looking at:
- Background to Medical Information and Terminology
- Overview of the ABPI Code of Practice and Copyright in practice
- The MI Administrator's Role in an Audit
- Handling simple enquiries including use of the SmPC
- Identifying Adverse Events in Telephone Conversations, Emails & Website Correspondence
- Streamlining your departmental operations
- Adding value to your department
Interactive exercises on the ABPI code of practice, handling enquiries and adding value will give you an opportunity to put what you've learnt into practice. Throughout the day, there is plenty of opportunities to discuss issues of concern and to share best practice.
