This PIPA working party has been set up to provide additional guidance on signal detection for those working in pharmacovigilance, as this is such a hot topic in the pharmaceutical industry at the moment. We aim to provide useful sources of information for those new to, or currently working in, this area and also to enable the sharing of information between companies and regulatory authorities on significant developments and best practice in signal detection. We aim to cover topics applicable to small, medium and large sized pharmaceutical companies.
